Ecuador is an important oil exporter in the region, besides it is the main banana exporter worldwide and one of the main exporter of flowers as well as shrimp and cacao produce.
In the political arena, Equator is a constitutional and descentralized republic State. It is divided politically and administratively in seven regions, 24 provinces, 226 cantons or districts and 1500 parishes.
